“I’m convinced it is an awesome organization dedicated to finding the people that become lost for one reason or another! And to know that this group was formed in memory of my nephew Ron Kirk who went missing in the Red Rock canyon on Jan 17 2012 just makes it so special to our family!”

“Your day was spent today searching for my son Robert at the Wetlands. I want to thank Donald and his RRSAR group for their tireless effort they put in today. Beings Robert is an adult the authorities didn’t seem to want to help. Then I was told about Donald and his RR volunteers. I put in an email and it was answered immediately. Although we didn’t find Robert today they are just waiting to see if another clue might turn up as to where he might be. At least I no longer feel alone because I could not find anyone to help.”

“I am a member of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) of Southern Nevada Chapter, and on behalf of the organization, I would like to express our immense gratitude for the Red Rock Search & Rescue team. We are eternally grateful for the fact that this team has been offering blind people in our organization as well as in the community free and adapted cpr, first aid, splintering, and AED classes. In every class, they have always been accommodating to every need of our members, adjusted to our learning styles, and have always taken time to understand our livelihoods. This team has continued to raise the expectations of blind people, they continue to work with us to knock down the barriers which were once in our way, and continue to give us more independence. To all of the instructors who take part in this journey, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for taking time out of your busy lives to ensure that all people, regardless of their disability can protect themselves and everyone else in the community. As a non-profit organization, we understand that donations make an incredible difference when providing services to the community. But regardless of that, this team has given these classes to all blind members of the community absolutely free. The services that they have provided to our members have helped instill a huge amount of skill sets and knowledge in them, and it has inspired them to look for jobs, raise families more confidently as blind parents, and reach for new heights they never thought possible, until they met and worked with the Red Rock Search & Rescue team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done for us, and although we cannot find the right amount of words to thank you, we hope that the love and amazing bond our two organizations have formed says it all.”
